Wells Fargo Gives $25,000 Challenge Grant PDF Print

Darcie Larson (left), Wells Fargo Seward store manager, and Stephanie Garrard, Wells Fargo Alaska charitable contributions manager, present a $25,000 check to Mary Tougas, volunteer co-vice chair of the Seward Community Library Museum Building Committee (SCLMBC), and Kim Hughes, president of Seward Community Library Association, during the reception of Seward’s 50th anniversary statehood symposium May 1. The contribution is a challenge grant for the Library Museum project proposed for the community of Seward.

“What better way to celebrate Alaska’s 50th anniversary of statehood than to give back to the community,” said Lori Draper, Wells Fargo district manager. “The new Seward Library Museum will enrich the lives of many Alaskans and visitors. We’re very proud to support the building project with this monetary contribution and local volunteer support and we encourage other businesses to join us in our support.”

Thank You Wells Fargo!
